Miss Universe 2012 Contestant (Part 1)

Miss Universe 2012, the 61st Miss Universe pageant will be held in December. The Miss Universe Organization will announce the venue prior to the date. Leila Lopes from Angola will crown her successor at the end of the event. Here are the 33 partial delegates who have been confirmed as of April 1, 2012.



Miss Croatia

Elizabeta Burg - born 1993, 18, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Vrbanja, Croatia is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. Burg is Senior School of Public Health Dr. of Medical and Veterinary School in FC.



Miss Belgium

Laura Beyne - born May 25, 1992, 19, 5ft. 8in. tall, from Brussels, Belgium is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Belgium 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe and Miss World pageants. Laura is student Real Estate Agent the first year student. She speaks in English, French and Dutch.


Miss Bolivia

Yessica Mouton Gianella - born in 1987, 24, 5ft. 7.5in. tall, from Santa Cruz, Bolivia is a beauty pageant titleholder and model who was crowned Miss Bolivia 2011, and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. Mouton can speak English fluently and she is studying at the Public Relations in Nur. Yessica has participated in competitions since childhood. Yessica Sharit Gianella Mouton became the "Goddess of Fortune" Bingo Bahiti 2010, after the contest held among 14 candidates in the city.


Miss British Virgin Islands

Abigail Hyndman - born 1990, 21, 5ft. 9in. tall, from Road Town, New British Virgin Islands is a beauty pageant titleholder who has been chosen as the new Miss British Virgin Islands 2011 during the final event held at the Multi Purpose Sports Complex on 31 July 2011 in Road Town. Hyndman will be the official entry of British Virgin Islands in Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant.


Miss Cayman Islands

Lindsay Japal - born 1987, 23, 5ft. 9in. tall, from Georgetown, Cayman Islands is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Cayman Island 2011, the official representative of the Cayman Island to the 2011 Miss World and 2012 Miss Universe pageant. She is an Associate degree in Business Administration from the University College of the Cayman Islands. She is a Bachelors degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the Cayman Islands University College. 


Miss Colombia

Daniella Margarita Alvarez Vasquez was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on May 24, 1988, 23. She is a Colombian model and the holds the title of Miss Colombia 2011. Álvarez is 5ft. 8in. tall and will represent Colombia at the 61st edition of Miss Universe 2012. She is a Social Communicator and Journalism graduate from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla. She is now in her second half of specializing in "Organizational development and human processes" at the same institution. She is fluent in English and German.


Miss Curacao

Monifa Jansen - born March 1993, 18, 5ft. 8.5in. tall, from Willemstad, Curacao is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Curaçao Universe 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss World pageant . Jansen will now compete in the Miss Universe pageant 2012 as she now meets the age requirement.


Miss Czech Republic

Tereza Chlebovská - born 1991, 21, 5ft. 8in. tall, from Tremesne, Czech Republic is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Česká Miss 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Tereza is Currently studying Ostrava University.


Miss Ecuador

Carolina Aguirre - born November 26, 1992, 19, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Guayaquil, Ecuador is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Ecuador 2012 and represented her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. She loves singing and dancing jazz, and she is current student of journalism at UEES.


Miss Finland

Sara Chafak - born October 25, 1990, 21, 5ft. 7.5in. tall, from Helsinki, Finland is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Suomi 2012, the official representative of Finland to the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. She is studying international marketing (Economics), Estonian Business School.


Miss France

Delphine Wespiser - born 1992, 19, 5ft. 9in. tall, from Magstatt-le-Bas, France is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss France 2012 She will represent France at Miss Universe 2012. Delphine Wespiser known as the new Miss Alsace version Endemol. She also works as an ambassador of Apamad and follows a tri-national university.


Miss Gabon

Ada Meyo Marie Noelle - born 1990, 21, 5ft. 7in. tall, from Ngounie, Gabon is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Winner Miss Gabon 2012 and she will represent Gabon at Miss Universe 2012. 27 beauties of the 9 provinces participated in the Miss Gabon 2012 beauty pageant. Marie Noelle Ada is the first ever representative in Miss Universe beauty pageant.


Miss Georgia

Salome Khomeriki - born 1992, 19, 5ft. 10.5in. tall, from Tbilisi is a beauty pageant titleholder who will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Miss Georgia 2011 beauty pageant was held on October 1, 2011 at the Batumi Art Center in Batumi. Salome Khomeriki has won the Miss Georgia 2011. She will paint Georgia in Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant.


Miss Guatemala

Laura Beatriz Godoy Calle - born July 6, 1987, 23, 5ft. 9in. tall, from Guatemala City is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Guatemala 2011 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. Godody is a student of Nutrition in Guatemala and a Model.


Miss Indonesia

Maria Selena - born September 24, 1990, 21, 5ft. 9.5in. tall, from Semarang, Indonesia is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2011 and will represent her country in Miss Universe 2012 pageant. Selena's family is from Semarang, Central Java. That is why she represented Central Java in the Pemilihan Puteri Indonesia 2011.


Miss Israel

Lina Machola - born May 25, 1993, 18, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Haifa, Israel is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Israel Universe 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. Lina is an alternative service, in which helps children with cancer in hospital Rambam.


Miss Japan

Ayako Hara - born in 1988, 24, 5ft. 7in. tall, from Sendai, Japan is a model who won Miss Universe Japan in 2012. Hara has been crowned "Miss Universe Japan 2012" at the Osaka International Convention Center on 1 April 2012.


Miss Korea

Lee Sung-hye - born November 11, 1988, 23, 5ft. 7in. tall, from Seoul, Korea is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Korea 2011 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Sung-hye is studying in fashion design at the Parsons School of desigh in New York.


Miss Malaysia

Kimberley Ann Estrop-Leggett - born March 23, 1993, 19, 5ft. 9in. tall, from Penang, Malaysia is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Malaysia 2012. Leggett will represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe 2012. Leggett is fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu and French. The International School of Penang (Uplands) where she completed the IGCSE and IB Diploma as well as being appointed a senior prefect.


Miss Mauritius 

Ameeksha Dilchand - born 1986, 24, 5ft. 9.5in. tall, from Port Louis, Mauritius is a beauty pageant and former Miss Mauritius. She was crowned Miss Mauritius 2011. Ameeksha attended the Notre Dame de la Confiance RCA school for her primary education then joined the Loreto College Rose Hill for her secondary studies. Ameeksha is a LLB(hons) holder from the University College London. Ameeksha also received a scholarship from the IIFT for a course in "Fashion and Design" in India during the Miss Mauritius Pageant 2011. 


Miss Mexico

Laura Karina González Muñoz - born March 28, 1991, 21, 5ft. 9.5in. tall, from Aguascalientes, Mexico is a beauty pageant titleholder who won Nuestra Belleza México 2011. González was crowned the night of July 7, 2011, and subsequently represented her state in the national competition, held in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, where she competed against thirty-four young women from all over the country.


Miss Nicaragua

Farah Eslaquit Cano - born in Monterrey, Mexico on December, 1991, 20, 5ft. 9 in. tall, from Masaya, Nicaragua is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. She has a Diploma in Fashion, Modeling and Etiquette Course. 


Miss Panama

Stephanie Vander Werf - born 26 October 1986, 25, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Panama City is a model and beauty pageant contestant winner of the Miss Panama 2012 title on March 30, 2012 for Miss Universe 2012 contest. Vander Werf is a Model of Argentine ancestry, and recognized TV host. She graduated in Advertising and Public Relations from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX U.S.


Miss Peru

Nicole Faverón - born February 24, 1990, 22, 6ft. 0in. tall, from Iquitos, Peru is a model and pageant titleholder who will represent her countryin the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. In 2008, Faverón won the Super Model of Perú pageant and represented her country at the Supermodel of the World pageant in 2009 where she signed with Ford Models. In 2010 she won a contract for be the image of Maybelline.


Miss Poland

Marcelina Zawadzka - born on January 25, 1989, 22, 5ft. 11in. tall, from Malbork, Poland is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Polonia 2011 and represented her country in Miss Universe 2012. Marcelina is a Model in Poland, has received many valuable prizes like Chevrolet Spark, a set of diamond earrings laureatce and Italian brand Roncato - a set of luggage. The beauty of the new Miss Polonia 2011 Clarena took care brand, which was funded by an annual care and cosmetics in the salon.


Miss Puerto Rico

Bodine Koehler Peña – born on September 30, 1992, 19, 5ft. 11in. tall, from San Juan, Puerto Rico is a model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was born in the Netherlands , but grew up in Puerto Rico. Of Dutch and Dominican descent, Koehler is one of the most well-known top models in the Island. She represented Rio Grande municipality at Miss Puerto Rico 2012 and won it. Bodine won La Batalla del Bikini competition, which gives her an automatic spot on the semi-finalists at the final competition. On November 7, 2011 Bodine was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012 and will represent Puerto Rico in the Miss Universe 2012 competition.


Miss Russia

Elizaveta Golovanova - born on April 2, 1993, 18, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Smolensk, Russia is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Russia 2012 and will represent her country in the Miss World 2012pageant and Miss Universe 2012 pageant.


Miss Serbia

Bojana Lečić - born 1991 in SFR Yugoslavia, 20, 5ft. 11in. tall, from Belgrade, Serbia is a beauty queen who will participate in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Bojana Lecic is the new Miss Serbia Universe 2012, crowned on the Thursday night at the Sava Center in Belgrade on 7 July 2011. Bojana Lecic will represent Serbia in Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant.


Miss South Africa

Melinda Bam - born 1989, 22, 5ft. 7in. tall, from Pretoria, South Africa is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss South Africa 2011, becoming the official representative of her country to the 2012 Miss Universe and Miss World pageants. Melinda is a model and she is a student of B.Com Marketing from Pretoria University.


Miss Spain

Andrea Huisgen Serrano - born June 22, 1990, 21, 5ft. 11in. tall, from Barcelona, Spain is a beauty queen who was crowned Miss España 2011, the official representative to Miss Universe 2012. Andrea is student of Law and she is a model as Miss Barcelona. 


Miss Switzerland

Alina Buchschacher - born 1991, 20, 5ft. 7.5in. tall, from Bern, Switzerland is a beauty queenand model from Bern who won the title of Miss Switzerland 2011 and represented her country in the 2012 Miss Universepageant. Alina is an International Business student and se can speaks Swiss German and English.


Miss Venezuela

Irene Sofía Esser Quintero - born on November 20, 1991, 20, 5ft. 10in. tall, from Rio Caribe, Venezuela  is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela in 2011. Esser grew up in Río Caribe, Sucre, Venezuela. She will represent Venezuela in Miss Universe 2012. After graduating from "Don Andres Bello High School" in Carupano, she moved to England, where she took a course in Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology.


Miss Angola

Marcelina Vahekeni - born in 1990, 21,  5ft. 7in. tall, from Ondjiva, Angola is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Angola 2011 and represented her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Marcelina is a model and She is a student of Human Resource Management.
