Selvaraghavan earlier had decided to work with G.V. Prakash in future projects, but has now changed his mind by signing Yuvan Shankar Raja. However G.V. Prakash has tweeted saying that the project didn’t work out due to financial and time factors.
Much excited Yuvan Shankar Raja has stated that the script of Erandam Ulagam is mind-boggling and that made him irresistible from signing this project. Dhanush on turn has said that the film is not a sequel to Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan, but a heart-touching love story on different dimension.
